Summer volunteers at the
Svir Stroi orphanage help children, "one child at a time."
THE PROJECTED PROGRAM EXPENSES ARE:
  • Social welfare of orphans and displaced children, $350,000 (including the Centers for Social Adaptation, Young Mother's, Enterprise and Volunteer Programs; research, education and training)
  • Anti-trafficking, $500,000 (including research, education, training, support of the Angel Coalition)
  • HIV/AIDS prevention education, $250,000
  • Tolerance Education, $180,000
  • Humanitarian aid, $25,000

SOURCE OF FUNDS
MiraMed receives donations from individuals, private and public foundations and US and foreign governments. Our Annual Program Reports list major donors.

TAX EXEMPT INFORMATION
MiraMed is a 501C3 nonprofit public charity, registered with the U.S. government. The organization is also registered in Russia as a representative office of a nonprofit charity. All contributions are tax-exempt. As required by Federal law, our tax returns are on file with the U.S. government and with the Secretary of State in Olympia, Washington, Charities Division. We do not use any commercial fund-raising organization or individual or professional "grant writers".
